G1年级英语：
1. Type and Scope of examination
It is a test for candidates who have completed Middle School courses or those of equivalent English proficiency. The aim of the test is to select capable students who are eligible to study G1 course in SESCIE.
2. Makeup of examination
The full mark of this paper is 100 percent which will be graded as A, B, C, D, E, and U, with four parts: grammar and vocabulary, cloze test, reading comprehension, and writing task. Time of exam is 60 minutes.
3. Scope of the Content
Part 1 Grammar and Vocabulary
Students will be tested on their correct use of basic grammar, vocabulary and structure in particular.
Part 2 Cloze Test
Students will be tested on their ability to understand context and vocabulary in order to identify the correct words or type of words that belong in the deleted passages of a text.
Part 3 Reading Comprehension
Students will be tested on their ability to extract relevant specific information from a reading passage.
Part 4. Writing Task
Students will be required to complete an essay of up to 100 words on a free topic related to their every day lives.
