观《霍顿与无名氏》有感

《霍顿与无名氏》的英文名字是“horton hears a who”。具体内容讲的就是在丛林里的一只大象意外的得到了一个苜蓿花。苜蓿花上有一粒小灰尘。小灰尘里实际上是一个“无名氏”的世界。那里生活着一群与丛林中动物截然不同的生物。由于苜蓿花并不安全。于是大象霍顿承诺无名氏镇长给灰尘找一个安全的地方。经过一系列艰险之后，原本一直对霍顿所作所为不理解并加以制止的丛林动物们终于明白了霍顿的苦心。他们一同给无名氏的世界找到了一个安定的归宿。片中的一句话揭示了主题“a person is a person, no matter how small.”大致主题为不管一个生命有多么的微小，他始终是一个生命。影片其实是想呼吁人类给与生命或者文化更多无私的关注。个人认为影射了当前美国社会中，强势文化对于弱小非主流文化的打压。强势的文化或者价值观总是利用他们已经掌握的强大媒介工具对非主流另类文化的信奉者进行洗脑，推行文化霸权。文化的多样性，生命的多样性应当而且必须得到尊重。

Have you ever heard a saying: “a person’s a person, no matter how small.” Well, it comes from a cartoon called :’Horton hears a who. This fantastic 3-D movie was from aTheodore Seuss Geisel’s classic 1954 children’s book. Maybe some of you have heard this story before. Enjoying his jungle bath one day, the warmhearted elephant hears faint noises coming from a tiny piece of dust. What he soon discovered by his giant ears, there was a tiny but fully developed community inside the dust. So he decided to protect this tiny community. Working with the town’s mayor, Horton comes up with a plan to transport this Whoville to the safe place high up on a mountain. But he was soon facing a lot of opposition from his animal friends. They thought he was seriously mad. The leading role of those animals was a kangaroo who loves to care about other’s privacy. When Horton refused to give the precious dust, the kangaroo who insisted that “if you can’t see something, it doesn’t exist.’ asked a evil eagle named Vlad to help her. The eagle used its paw to catch the dust. But the brave elephant didn’t give up, he use his behavior to prove what he always says: An elephant’s faithful 100 percent. Now I will introduce some of the main characters of the cartoon.
