IRREGULAR TIME SIGNATURE（（不规则）混合拍子）

In irregular time signature - 5/4, 5/8(qintuple), 7/4, 7/8(septuple),the notes and rests are not grouped into equal groups of 2 or 4 as in simple time signatures or 3 as in compound time signatures.
The notes and rests are either grouped into 2 groups of 2 and 3(5/4) or 3 and 2(5/8) for quintuple.
For septuple,the notes are grouped into 3 groups of 2, 2, 3(7/4) or 2,3,2(7/8) or 2 groups of 4 and 3(7/8).

simple time signature:-
duple meters（二拍子）：2/4, 2/2, 2/8
triple meters（三拍子）：3/4, 3/2, 3/8
quadruple meters（四拍子）：4/4, 4/2, 4/8

compound time signature: -
duple meters（二拍子）：6/8, 6/16, 6/4
triple meters（三拍子）：9/8, 9/16, 9/4
quadruple meters（四拍子）：12/8, 12/16, 12/4

quintuple meters（五拍子）：5/4（2+3）, 5/8（3+2）

是的，7|8是混合拍子，是3|8+4|8的，像9|8或12|8这种分子比分母大的，是复拍子，是由多种单拍子合组成的，5|4也是这种。
