比燕尾服而言的SEMI。 正式社交场合的服装。 男士要黑西服， 黑 BOW TIE， 女士要长裙礼服， 6点后的PARTY要着晚礼服。

SEMI则是说在着西装和裙装时不必严格按照其套路去做，比如西装可以是上装与下装的颜色不同，穿衬衫不一定打领带，袖扣和领带夹都可以省去，上装口袋里的装饰手绢也免了，更谈不上与领带的颜色要搭配的问题，等等。换句话说，就是不要穿牛仔服，体恤衫，运动鞋之类的服装到有服装要求的场合去参加活动。
