不是那行的，说学习语言的道理。
理解英文，没达到那个直接用英文理解英文的水平，用中文永远达不到理解的！要是用中文就能完整理解英文，英美人也就别玩儿了，全给会中文的来玩英文好了！

but the rate is not elevated
and the rate is even below the average range
That is what I understood. I do not study genetics, that is not my field.追问你说的这些，都知道，我在一篇文章里也知道，在环境改变后，细菌群体突变率会增高至最大值，然后随着环境的适应，突变率会降低，就是这里的整体突变率，和所谓的平均值到底是什么 我理解的是，整体突变率会不会是整个基因组中所有基因出现突变的概率总和，而平均值是根据统计学原理的吧，为什么会出现这种情况不是很清楚。我有个图可参考
追答I already stated that I do not study genetics and am not in that field. I could only try to understand the English based on what I know in English. My suggestion is that one can only understand English in English, not in any Chinese.
