During recent years, great changes have occured to my hometown. Now people are living in large and bright houses instead of old and shabby ones, with the improving of living conditions. A lot of families now have their own cars. The problem of heavy pollution has been solved and there is no rubbish all over. Therefore, the mountain turns green, the water clear and the sky blue. In the past, owing to inconvenient traffic, travellers seldom came here even if they wanted to. But now, tourism is developing at a high speed with millions of tourists from all over the world coming here. I hope that my hometown will become more and more beautiful in the future.

occured to最好用taken place in , large and bright最好是larger and brighter, improving最好是improvement, all over一般放在名词的前面，所以最好是：everywhere, green---greener, clear---clearer blue--bluer,

说几个大点的问题吧。improvement取代你的improving,因为improvement就是名词了。heavypollution，以前没见过这种表达的，heavy换成别的什么形容词。allover是个介词，后面掉了宾语，加上地点就行了。然后thewatergreen,thewater是主语，green是表语，中间应该加个系动词的，你前面不是知道要加个turn吗。同理，theskyblue中间也要加。整体上还可以，看得出来你高中英语还学得不错，只是初中有些东西没学好，平常注意慢慢补上。

第二行的large and bright应为比较级larger and brighter，因为是与旧房子作对比，with 前面的逗号可省略
