this is the place that/which/不填 i visited,    i visited 缺宾语 故只能用关系代词，作宾语时关系代词可省

i  never  forget the day  when he died.    he died. 句子完整，故用关系副词。

我永远忘不了他死的那一天。

i  never  forget the day  that/which/不填 i spent with you.    spent是及物动词，缺宾语，故用关系代词。

我永远忘不了我和你度过的那一天。
