1."I would rather"后面接动词原型。

比如“我宁愿一个人生活。”
I would rather live alone/on my own.

2."I would rather that"后面接名词性从句，有祈使句的意思。

比如“我希望你和我一起去看球赛。”
I would rather that you go to watch the football match with me.
注意，that 是可以省略的。
