初三英语问问

被用来做，习惯做，过去常常做 这三个词组到底是什么，我老是搞不清楚。

还有other ，another， the other ，the other到底怎么用怎么搭配句子，最好举下例子

1.被用来做 be used to do (主语一般指物）Paper is used to write on. (纸用来写字）

习惯做 be/get used to sth/doing sth ( 主语一般指人）；过去常常做 used to do

I used to get up very late on Sunday but now I get / am used to getting up early every day.

(过去我周日起得很晚，但是现在我每天都起得很早）

I have been used to the weather here. (我已经习惯于这里的天气了）

There used to be a bridge across the river. (过去这条河上有座桥）

2. another 指不定指数目中的另一个，即another+单数名词 或another+数字+复数名词

This cup is broken, please give me another ( one).

I have another few books besides this one.

Other 指不确定数目中的另一些，即other+复数名词 或数词+other+复数名词

Some boys like music; other students / others like football.

Two other students also attended the meeting besides Tom.

the other 指确定数目中的另一些 即有范围

In our class,some boys like music; some like basketball;the other students / the others like football.

others= other+复数名词 the others= the other +复数名词

另外常用句型：In my class, he is taller than any other boy. (比较范围相同）
