高中英语复合句问题，两道英语选择题，高人请进~

强调句型：it is/was + 被强调部分 + that + 句子未被强调部分。
去掉it is/was和that后，剩下的就是一个完整的句子。
即：Foreign dishes are replacing traditional British food not only in restaurants.

2. B when
定语从句的关系副词when = in which = in the year，在该从句the Anti-Japanese War broke out种做时间状语。
即when the Anti-Japanese War broke out
= in which the Anti-Japanese War broke out
= in the year the Anti-Japanese War broke out
= the Anti-Japanese War broke out in the year
during强调“在......期间”，一般要求动作一直延续，但是break out为瞬间性动词，所以用in which，而不用during which.
