Recently, the students in our class had a debate about whether middle school students should study abroad. Some of us think that study abroad has many advantages. First it's agood opportunity to master a foreign language. Second, we can avoid increaseingly competitive college entrance examination and are more likely to be admitted by a leading foreign university. Besides, we can communicate with foreign middle school studengts and have a good knowledge of foeign cultures. Others think that we should pay moer attention to the disadvantages. Studying aborad will cost a lot of money, which is a heavy burden of most families. Some students are too young to live independently and control themselves.
