personally,I think that chinese movies are better ,because as a chinese people ,we used to the chinese tradition of our culture ,but as a student of the english course ,I have seen many American and english film ,what I want to say is that if you watch them by heart ,you will get a lot of things ,either.

i like foreign movies, especially the movies in english. that's because i love english. through watching tv, i can get to know more of the traditions and customs in english-speaking countries. by listening to original movies, my listening can be greatly improved and my vocabulary is enlarged. i love watching foreign movies.
