The city of Beijing is a modern city. Everywhere we can see high-rise buildings and the roads are very clean. The citizens of Beijing all try their best to protect the environment. They plant trees and flowers along the roads and do not litter on the ground. People who have cars do not drive them every day. They take public transport such as bus so that there will be less air pollution. By keeping the city clean and healthy, Beijing held the 2008 Olympic Games successfully.

 last friday, our school held a wonderful party at the compus. the students gave many kinds of performances.

     some sang pop songs. some danced. some played chinese kungfu. some played musical instruments, like violin, erhu.some gave a play.other students were busy cheering and eating snacks.

   it was a very nice party. we all had a great time that day.
