Do you think what it is? 这里Do you think 不是插入语 Do 是助动词 you 是主语 think 是谓语 what it is 是做宾语成分 wh+接在动词后面做宾语的时候要用陈述句语序 what do you think is it? 这里的do you think 是插入语陈述句应该是It is what。特殊疑问句应该是特殊疑问词+一般疑问句所以应该是what do you think is it? what do you think it is?这种说法是错误的

What do you think it is 这种问法是对的。因为它是一个复合疑问句，其结构是：疑问词+ 插入语+陈述句。插入语有 do you think/suppose/believe/imagine/suggest ,,, 如下面句子对比 Who do you think is the tallest in your class ?复合疑问句。所以用这种结构。 Do you know who is the tallest in your class ?这个不是复合疑问句，因为没有插入语。所以这是一个含有宾语从句的复合句。你问的第二个问题是语序的问题。 what do you think it is? 和 what (do you think ) is it哪个对的问题。应该是前一个对。因为后面是陈述句。后一句子错。
