同化是协同发音的一种
Coarticulation in phonetics refers to two different phenomena:
1. The assimilation of the place of articulation of one speech sound to that of an adjacent speech sound. For example, while the sound /n/ of English normally has an alveolar place of articulation because the following sound, /θ/, is dental.
2. The production of a co-articulated consonant, that is, a consonant with two simultaneous places of articulation. An example of such a sound is the voiceless labial-velar plosive /k͡p/ found in many West African languages.

前面一个不知道,后面一个好像是语音学中语音同化吧。看哈书上,好像有讲assimilation的部分
再看看别人怎么说的。

"Anticipatory coarticulation is by far the most common cause of assimilation in English." Ladefoged(2006:109)
即协同发音是英语同化发音的最普遍接受的原因。
