ISF Warning Messages Cause Concern for Filers
If you received one of the following warnings when filing your ISFs on February 14th or 15th, do not worry – your transactions were accepted. US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) stated in a CSMS message that some filers incorrectly received warning messages due to edits done to CBP’s system earlier this week.
ABI:
144 CONTINUOUS BOND NOT ON FILE
145 CONTINUOUS COND NOT ACTIVE
146 BOND HOLDER NOT ACTIVE
147 CONTINUOUS BOND IS INSUFFICIENT
AMS:（AMS：America manifest system（美国仓单系统）的简称。这是美国出于反恐怖需要而建立的一个制度。
货代必须于开船之前48小时把货物等资料报给承运人。承运人必须于开船之前24小时将货物资料通过AMS系统报美国海关，必须向美国海关提供真正的货主和收货人。）

SA8 CONT BOND NOT ACTIVE
SA9 BOND HOLDER NOT ACTIVE
SAA CONT BOND IS INSUFFICIENT
If you received any of these warnings while filing your ISF, you do not need to retransmit your ISF unless there were other errors received simultaneously with the warning message. If you received an ‘ACCEPTED WITH WARNINGS’ message, you do not need to retransmit your ISF to receive an ‘ACCEPTED’ message.
CBP has eased filers concerns by reassuring them these warnings will not affect ISF Progress Reports. CBP understands that this was their mistake and the warnings will not reflect badly on filers.
Filers with additional questions should contact their Client Representative or call 571-468-5500.
