In late March and early Apeil,2009,a serious illness called A/H1N1 flu first appeared in Mexico.And this illness has soon spread across many other countries in the world.

The symptoms(症狀) of A/H1N1 flu are similar to those of seasonal flu. The infected people may have a fever.a cough, a sore throat, a body ache ,a headache and so on. The A/H1N1 flu doesn't spread by food.It is spreading from person through coughing or sneezing（打噴嚏） of people with flu.You cannot get the A/H1N1 flu from eating pork ,Eating properly cooked pork is safe.

What can we do to protect oueselves from getting sick?

There are everyday habits that can help prevent the spread of germs. Take these everyday steps to keep you healthy.

Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue（紙巾） when you cough or sneeze.Throw the tissue in the dustbin after you use it.

It is helpful to wash your hands often with soap and water , especially after you cough pr sneeze.

Don't touch your eyes,noses or mouth.The flu virus spreads this way.

Try not to meet sick people with flu.

If you get the flu,you should stay at home.Don't meet others because you might pass the flu virus（病毒） to them.
