不知不觉中，《西游记》已经读完了。在这部书中，我认识了顽皮机智的孙悟空、功利憨厚的猪八戒、忠心耿耿的沙僧、严格执着的唐僧，还有阴险狡诈的白骨精、法力无边的如来佛等。在这一个个特色鲜明的人物中，大家最熟悉，也最喜欢的莫过于是孙悟空了，因为他既是自由的化身，又是正义的化身。
　　先说自由。孙悟空乃天产石猴，似人相，不入人名；似蠃虫，不居国界；似走兽，不伏麒麟管；似飞禽，不受凤凰辖。在仙山福地，古洞神洲，自由自在，享无量之福，却暗中有阎王老子管着。为此，他下山寻圣，一心访问佛仙神圣之道，寻觅长生不老之方，终遇菩提祖师，学有所成，大闹地府，勾除猴属，以保长生不老，这是孙悟空追寻自由的第一点。但是太自由了也不是件好事，这就造成了孙悟空后来大闹天宫，扰乱蟠桃会，戏弄诸神，终被如来佛祖压在五行山下。五百年后，虽被唐三藏救起，拜其为师，归依佛教，但仍是自由过头，顽性不改，这与现实生活是严重不符的。没有规矩不成方圆。于是，孙悟空头上便多上了一个“金箍”儿，再不听话，就“紧箍”儿，这就让孙悟空明白：自己不再拥有自由了，也让他明白了拥有过多的自由并不完全是好事，要想追寻自由，必须在专心向佛，修成正果之后，还必须合理地运用自由。
　　但限制孙悟空自由的这个“金箍”儿，本意只是管教悟空，而到了领导者唐僧手里，就变得有些“过分”，比如在“三打白骨精”这一回，孙悟空三次打倒白骨精，但唐僧肉眼凡胎，以为打死三个好人，便念“紧箍咒”儿“教训”悟空，这也暗示了当今社会那些贪官污吏滥施刑罚，使《西游记》更加大众化。还好，最后孙悟空修成正果，做了斗战胜佛，“金箍”儿也就自动脱落下来了，而这时，拥有自由的孙悟空法力更加强大，却没有再大闹天宫。为什么？是怕了吗？当然不是，因为这时他已经知道如何利用自由，限制自己的个性。
　　再说正义。我们每个人心中都有对正义的理解，而孙悟空便是正义的化身。刚开始的孙悟空，是一个地地道道的妖精，还结识了牛魔王、蛟魔王、鹏魔王、狮驼王、弥猴王、猖绒王，连自己合称为七兄弟。整日走斝传觞，弦歌吃舞，朝去暮回，无般儿不乐。而在被压在五行山下之后，喜受观音点化，归依佛教。随唐僧西天取经，成为唐三藏的第一个徒弟。一路上，劫豺狼，杀虎豹，保唐僧西天取经，终修成正果，成为广大读者心目中的英雄形象。
　　在书中，最能体现孙悟空正义感的，莫过于“三打白骨精”了。虽然唐僧本着慈悲为怀的心态，时刻阻止悟空“杀生”，孙悟空却对师父忠心耿耿，为不了让白骨精伤害师父，忍着头痛，终把白骨精打死，唐僧却以为他连伤三条人命，念了一通“紧箍咒”儿，把孙悟空逐走。孙悟空无可奈何，对师父拜了三拜，然后离去。在这里，充分说明了孙悟空的正义。有些人以为孙悟空因忠心而正义，而我却认为孙悟空因正义而忠心。在这里，也不能怪唐僧，谁让他是凡人，看不懂妖魔鬼怪呢？“三打白骨精”也反映了现实社会中一些坚持正义的人往往没有好下场。但是，那些邪恶的人永远没有好下场的！
　　《西游记》有着不朽的艺术魅力和永恒的生命力，倾倒了一代又一代的读者。作者吴承恩以浪漫主义的手法，成功地刻画了孙悟空这个生动形象的人物，并把自由和正义赋予了它，使其成为他们的化身，成为家喻户晓的神话人物。而在现实生活中，总有那么一些人，为了得到金钱或官职，不惜利用非法的手段，甚至受到法律的制止后。仍然不思悔改，入狱后，还采用逃狱等方法逃避责任。这样不仅违背了正义的原则，也大大限制了自己的自由。我们在生活中要学习孙悟空的精神——追寻自由，但要学会限制个性，利用自由；坚持正义，面对邪恶临危不屈，大义凛然，做新时代的中国人！
