I used to be very proud of myself and I seldom listened to others' advice. I was careless at my lessons and often made spelling mistakes. My mother told me again and again to be careful, but I did not follow her advice, because I thought it was nothing serious. It was not until I knew the result of the entrance examination that I realized I was wrong. Because of my own carelessness, I did not pass the exam and had to spend another year reviewing my middle school lessons again. What a lesson I have got from my mistake!
