区别是：
do bad thing意思是：做坏事，比较正式，多贬义。
do anything bad意思是：做坏事，常用于疑问句和否定句中。

例句：

do good things, do something good 其实这类的意思都差不多，但是口语里边有点时间和习惯上的差异。

James, I told you thousand times, please do not do bad things.

It seems James wanna do something bad tonight.
