你是说把spend当成实意动词，后面接不定式
么？

这里面的to do 是做目的状语的
我为什么那么多晚上不睡觉啊,就是为了把整本书读完!

举个例子:
I spent lots of money buying toys to make my daughter happy
我花很多钱买玩具就是为了让我女儿高兴.

你好，上面两个都不对(⊙o⊙)哦因为spend的两种形式： spend sth (in) doing sth,这里in可以省略，也可以不省略 spend sth on sth 所以你上面的意思应该正确的是：spend one's money (in) doing sth
