There is a good side and a bad side to everything....? A yin and yang if you will.
Chocolate tastes good, but too much sugar can give you diabetes. Guns can help us to
protect ourselves, but in the wrong hands they are a deadly weapon that only brings death.

Pros and Cons all over the place. So, what is the bad side of religion? We know the good sides, bringing love to others, using it as a guideline to live a good life....but what are some of the bad sides?

there are some benefits to some religions. and before i get beaten down
by the atheist mafia, let me expound. some people need religion, ok?
they need the restraint of an invisible sky daddy and the threat of
eternal damnation to keep from f*cking up and doing bad sh*t every day.
i'm glad those people fear their god, and until humanity evolves to the
point where fear of retribution by a sky daddy is not the motivating
factor for living a semi-decent and lawful life, then those people who
live according to that dogma can keep on living like that.
on the flip side however, the drawback is that this dogma often comes
with some wicked *ss, old-school, ancient and out-dated codes that are
used to subjugate and oppress.

that's the carrot and stick approach that i hate about religion. the
carrot is the whole "god loves you and forgives you - join us and be a
good person and live a moral life" approach, which is then followed by
the stick, which is the "oh yeah, you can't be a lesbian, homosexual,
choose what to do with your body, drink, smoke, dance, listen to rock
and roll devil music, masturbate, have sex, eat shellfish or wear
polyester...or you'll go to hell".

i think they may have loosened the rules on the last couple of ones
though, i'm not sure though. the point is, religion becomes a tool to
control instead of liberate...to divide instead of join. religions have
even divided to the point to where denominations can't agree as to
which one is right.

maybe it's a matter of what you said in your premise - a little bit of
something can be a good thing, but overindulgence is not. religious
fanaticism is what turns my stomach and makes me worry for the future of
humanity. people who need a bit of faith in "something" to get through
each day and be kind to each other? meh...whatever floats your boat.
the fundie whackjobs who preach intolerance and bigoted hatred
though...that's the downside that needs to be done away with.

internet is an international computer network connecting other networks and computers from companies,universities,etc.at present,most of people can use computer for working,chatting,playing game,watching the movie and picture,and searching anything by clicking on internet.internet is useful assistant for leading you to another world which amazing thing.i think internet has advantage and disadvantage. advantage of internet is that you can do anything that you want on internet when it was connected to independent world such as download data,programs,game,picture etc.but internet has risk to receive spy ware,it attempts to disable or delete anti-spy ware tool and suppress warning massages given to users,it damages your data or system in your computer.moreover,you have risk to find the bad persons when chat in chat room especially women.you can found the crime news on the newspapers.the news said they have many victim from chatting with unknown people by the victim were believed implicitly.in conclusion,many people still use internet because it is useful and comfortable.

There was nothing for us to do but look for the dental department which took us a long time because it was on the third floor. There the dentist told us that we must register first, so I had to rush all the way down again to the ground floor, there only to find a long queue. I tried to jump the queue explaining it was an emergency case, “Go to the emergency room if it's an emergency case ！ ” I didn't know whether to laugh or to cry. Anyway I stood obediently at the end of the line and at last when my turn came I was given many forms to fill, some of which were very detailed and quite unnecessary I thought. After filling them I found I had to queue up once again to hand them in！ By the time everything was finished and I rushed upstairs, I was happy to find the dentist had the decency not to wait for me before treating Granny. That was the first comforting thing after entering the hospital and I really felt grateful to the dentist. After putting several stitches to lips and gum, the dentist said “That's all. Now go and pay your bill. ”

Everything has two sides，Noting can be perfect！

Recently, our school has carried out a survey about whether we should develop nuclear power stations. During the debate, some said we should develop nuclear power stations, since it would bring much electricity to people, and reduce the pressure of using electricity in the world. Meanwhile, it can create more jobs, while the others thought the government should limit the number of nuclear power stations, since they will cause all kinds of pollution, air pollution included. They thought solar energy power stations, which are environmentally friendly, should be developed. In my opinion, when developing nuclear power stations, we should be aware of both the advantages and disadvantages of it to make best of it.
