搜集 - you mean 'collection" as a hobby?

If that's the case, you can say something like,

"most people like to collect something" - stamps, coins, books...

Explain why people like to collect
What have people collected
How can they be useful (value? personal enjoyment? or even for public enjoyment as in a museum)

Alternatively, you can talk about your own collection -
What do you collect?
why do you collect?
How did you get your collection?
talk about some of the rare collections...

Shouldn't be too difficult...
