此“火锅”非彼“火”“锅”.
HOT pot (火锅) is many Chinese people’s favorite and I am one of them.After having three days of hamburgers,sandwiches and potatoes in the UK,I was excited when I learned that there was going to be a free meal of hotpot to welcome new students.
To my surprise,when I went into the room,in front of me were still potatoes and bread.Where is the hot pot?
After chatting with a French girl in school,I knew that hot pot is different from hotpot.Chinese hot pot is written in two words and hotpot in one word is a traditional English dish.
Hotpot is made from lamb or mutton and onion,and sliced potatoes are on the top.People put it in the oven all day in a heavy pot and on a low heat.It is easy to cook.
Hotpot tastes fine.But I still miss hot pot,two words!

　　火锅是包括我在内的许多国人的最爱.在英国吃了三天的汉堡,三明治,土豆,听说要换顿火锅来欢迎新生我很高兴.
　　当我进入房间看到还是土豆和面包,我很惊奇,哪有火锅?
　　和一位法国女同学聊天后得知,此火锅不同于那种火锅.中国的火锅由两个词组成,这里的火锅只一个词,是英国传统的餐食.
　　这是由羊肉或牛肉再加上洋葱还有上面土豆片制成的.把它放入一口很重的锅里,用温火来加热,很容易就熟了.
　　火锅尝起来不错,但是我还是想念那种两个词的火锅.
