However, it proved that his estimate was not much of a salvation, for he never found any sign of a village in the neighbourhood after several hours' trek. Desperately, he picked up his mobile phone and decided to call for help. However, there seemed to be no signal for the mobile phone in this area, and he completely lost touch with his family and friends. Several days later, he ate up all the food he carried with him and in his bag there were mostly some gunpowder that was used to make fire. Hopeless feeling appeared on his mind and he was sure that he was going to die soon. All of a sudden, a helicopter emerged in the distance, and the man was almost choked up with happiness. He quickly came up with a good method of keeping in touch with the helicopter. He made a blazing fire with the branches on the ground and the gunpowder in his bag. Several minutes later, he was saved.
