英语中not ... until的用法用什么？

急需。有知道的朋友说下、要全面点。

not...until“直到...才”表示直到某一时间,某一行为才发生,之前该行为并没有发生. 用在否定句中，主句中的谓语可以是延续性的也可以是短暂性动词。
1. I waited for five hours until it was dark. I had to give it up.
2. I didn't go to sleep until 11 o'clock
not until 还可以用于强调句中，也可以放在句首，句子要采用部分倒装
3. It was not until he came back that I went to sleep
4. Not until he came back did I go to sleep.

直到……才……或者简单的理解成：前面的事情没有发生，直到后面的事情发生

not ...until...译为“直到...才...”

至到，。。才I didnt go home until ten oclock只到１０点我才回家
