你好，是写英语作文吗可能人称不是很对，改一下 dear john i am pleased to answer your questions.i understand that in america,when the invitation says 7 o'clock,people are not supposed to arrive until 8.however in china,you should arrive at the time specified on the invitation.so you should probably get there at about 7 o'clock.as birthday present goes,a small gift is sufficient.it is not a formal gathering,therefore you can wear informal clothes. i hope my answers have helped you.have fun at the party. sincerely yours, zhang lin
