其实蛮简单，如果用whose的话，那就得这样解释好了即the customers of the school shop，还是the customers in the school shop这样表达更合乎英语习惯，中国的人口the population in China 表达法更地道吧。另外 the school shop's customers 这种表达方式就存在问题，没有生命的东西一般不宜用's。

本人认为，此题出题不够严密。答案D和B均正确。Where或者Whose在此处均可引导非限制性定语从句，不同的是Where引导定语从句只带先行词Shop在定语从句中坐地点状语，而whose 指代先行词在定语从句中作定语限定customers.
