This is the statement of a man or woman who is rationalizing their bad behavior. It shows selfishness and a lack of empathy for the feelings of other. Drop the person who issues this dictat.
反方：Disagree. Why should someone have to put with someone so inconsiderate? I'd say people need to see you at your best most of the time to overlook what should be far and in-between worst times.
正方：I don't know why some people are disagreeing because some times people have those days when they are a mess. When they are about to fall apart and are a wreck. If someone can stay with you through those times, then they deserve the best you can do. If someone only liked you when you're have this flawless, perfect exterior, that's not right. I don't think being at your worst is being an asshole, I think being at your worst means being at that time of your life when you need someone to lean on.
