用法
1.expresses an order or rule
Example: All boys are to leave by 10 o'clock.
2.shows arrangements for the future
Example: We are to be married in June.
3.shows what should happen
Example:He is more to be pitied than blamed.
4.shows what cannot or could not happen
Example:We looked and looked, but the ring was nowhere to be found.
5.shows what had to happen or did happen
Example:This discovery was to have a major effect on the treatment of heart disease.
