我国的汽车流通业近年来虽然发展迅猛,但与发达国家成熟的汽车产业相比有很大的差距。主要表现在:市场化程度不高,相当数量的汽车经销商规模小,资金实力和向消费者提供服务的能力较弱,相对于生产企业来说,销售商还处在一种弱势地位,对汽车制造商有较强的依附性;国内的汽车营销管理仍处于体系不健全、方式落后、售后服务差、融资消费刚起步的状态。借鉴发达国家的经验,我国的汽车流通业应从以下几方面加以改进:
(1)提高售后服务质量,实现从“卖汽车”向“卖服务”的跨越。
汽车整车销售利润在整个产业链利润构成中仅占20%,零部件供应占20%,而50%~60%的利润则是由服务环节产生的,包括维修、保养、检测、救援等。一些跨国汽车公司较早地提出并建立了客户关系管理中心。我国汽车行业往往忽视售后服务,导致了汽车销售业相对落后、缺乏竞争力,具体表现在:专业化维修部门以及各品牌汽车的特约维修网点较少,维修的技术水平和服务质量也不尽如人意;汽车保养技术培训、跟踪服务等方面的服务更是很少有人问津。为此,我们必须进一步建立和完善售后服务体系。首先,提高汽车售后服务的专业化水平。一方面要加强维修人员的技术培训,提高维修保养人员的技术素质和服务水平,另一方面还要对售后服务网点进行认真清理整顿。其次,随着消费者的消费心理和消费行为趋于理性,他们将更多地把目光投向那些能够保证自己汽车维护的全过程,因此除了维修外,还应积极开展汽车维护和保养业务。
(2)加强与银行或汽车信贷公司合作,开展汽车信贷服务。

(3)开展二手车业务,形成新车和旧车“两条腿”走路的局面。
虽然我国二手车交易市场数目众多,但我国二手车市场还很不成熟,乱征税费现象严重、缺乏有效的价格评估与质量保证体系,二手车评估专业人才的缺乏、交易手续繁琐是制约二手车交易发展的瓶颈。由于二手车市场是新车消费的催化剂,整车公司从战略上推动二手车市场的建设应成为汽车营销战略的一部分。
