It’s generally receptive to top “hard work” on the list, which discovers what all the winner succeed in their careers have in common. But as long as “luck” shows on the list, even at the bottom of it, I wouldn’t agree.

Here comes how luck defines, one is something extrinsic, something accidently brings good and fortune, but it is unpredictable, so if you wish to count your success on something that is not even predictable, then success becomes something we will shame for. A little example of this is a man wins lottery then becomes a millionaire, which obviously depends all on luck, in this case, luck actually made him wealthy other that success, why? Because when the man depletes all his money, he becomes poor again, in that case, he is not successful. However, if he knows to hard work, he will deal with the money properly and go further for the future.

Because of hard work, those successful people have a better understanding with its meaning, it means step by step and trying harder and harder and persistence with strong resolution. The quality of “hard work” is strong enough to meet all kinds of challenges not just money and fame, but knowledge and thinking ability and spiritual stature. The quality can be shared universally, it is something intrinsic and predictable, it can be accessed to as long as you have a will.

What contributes to success is what you contribute to yourself, and the thing you could decide to contribute to yourself is about trying. Trying hard to access to the success, that is originally what a successful person thought. As for luck, if luck contributes to success, then what about those who are endowed with misfortune but later succeed? Those who are disabled, who was born in plight, undergo a very hard times, the truth is they are even more successful because they have a admirable heart, they endeavored even more in the way to success, their hard work made them who they are.
