nextto和beside的区别

next to和beside在意思和用法上有非常多的不同。主要造成混淆的是在表示位置关系时，next to是“紧邻”的意思，有紧挨着的意味；而beside是“在...旁边”的意思，没有紧挨着的意味。

如：
She sat down next to him on the sofa. 她紧挨着他在沙发上坐下了。(两个人靠在一起，意味着他们关系亲密)
She sat down beside him on the sofa. 她在沙发上坐下了，坐在他的旁边。(两个人没有靠在一起)

next to：[介词]紧邻；在…近旁；仅次于；紧接；[副词]几乎。
beside：[介词]不中（目标），不对（题），与…无关；（表示排斥）除…之外；（表示位置）在…旁边，在…一侧，在…附近；（表示关系）与…无关，和…相比，比起…来，比得上；
beside只在古英语中做副词，意思同“besides”，此外；而且；以及；更。

next to 是指下一个紧接着的物体 beside  是在什么物体的旁边 near是介词,next是形容词,near后直接跟名词作宾语,next加to后才跟名词.nearthetree,nexttothetree.意思差不多.前者意为：在.的附近,是立体位置、小物体与大物体之间的关系.后者意为“靠近.”,“在.的隔壁”,是平行的位置,小物体与大物体或差不多大小的关系。
