关于大学生申请休学打工一年，作为一名高中生对此的感想

   Currently, there is a tendency on campus that
an army of freshmen in college suspend school to work
for a year or so.

   There are several
reasons accounting for the phenomenon mentioned above, among which I think the
following could be the critical ones. To commence, some students hope a better understanding
of the need of the society through full-time working and then set more
clear-cut objectives back in their study. Others, however, intend to gain
useful work experience which may land them an ideal job after graduation. Still,
there are students who have to work to pay the tuition fee due to the financial
problem.

   From my point of view, I
am frown on the idea. For one thing, since we may not be as experienced as we
think in the light of the society, it’s likely that you get half the results
with twice the effort. For another, had you studied hard, you can get scholarships
which can solve the financial problem.
