The purpose of this essay is to discuss (the subject of reducing advertising spending in times of recession for a business).Advertising is a kind of promotion.It is giving some useful information to consumers,(prompts their) interest and even tries to persuade (them) to buy products.Also,promotion represents (the 去掉) various aspects of marketing communication,that is,(communication about the product information）with the goal of generating a positive customer response.(Marketing:marketing mix,2002)

If (a) company reduces its price,the others (will) follow rapidly.Finally,we should select a place which is associated with the channels of (distribution),(去掉because）through which we can get more target costumers.
