The Popcorn Maker My elder brother lives in the country. He is a popcorn maker. He has got a rotating oval-shaped container which has a handle on one end. When being closed, the container will be airtight. Whenever he wants to make some popcorn, he will open the container, put one or two catties of corn into it and then gets it closed. Afterwards he will rotate the container with the handle. Underneath the container some cokes are burning so that to get the corn inside heated. When the container gets very hot, he opens it using an iron rod. At that time, following a loud bang, popcorn will burst out. We can smell the good odor emitting from the popcorn. Through making popcorn, my brother earns a living.
