Everybody was shocked by the unbelievable news. After the earthquake, I read newspaper and watched TV to know what had happened. Many people died in the earthquake and many of them were kids and students. A lot of buildings were destroyed . And there were still many injured people who didn’t have place to live or food to eat. I was in deep sorrow. So after the earthquake, my classmates and I raised money for the people in Sichuan. And we also made beautiful love cards for them. After this, I know that people should stand together and this will encourage us to face all the difficulties. If everyone has a kind heart, there will be nothing impossible.
We were sorry to hear the bad news. By watching TV, I know that many buildings were destroyed in the earthquake, and some people became homeless. Some children even lost their parents.
Besides praying, we donated money for the people in Sichuan. Also clothes were donated because some people didn’t have warm clothes. We wrote some cards to cheer them up, too. We all believed these cards would have a good influence on them. I feel sad because many people died, but I also feel happy because I’m doing what I can do. I think everything will be fine, because we are trying our best to get over the difficulties.
When I heard the bad news, I was shocked. Many people died in the earthquake. Their beautiful hometown disappeared. They lost their homes, their families and their friends.
