补语包括主语补语和宾语补语。宾语从句，顾名思义，就是用来作宾语的句子；宾补也可以是从句，即宾补从句。如：
1. 主语的补语
The plan landed safe. 这架飞机安全着陆。（safe 就是主语的补足语）
He died young. 他英年早逝。（young 就是主语的补足语）
She went away quite a child and returned a grown-up woman. 她离家使还是个小姑娘，回来是已经是个成年妇女了。（quite a child 和 a grown-up woman就是主语的补足语）
He is made to copy the sentence. （不定式 就是主语的补足语）
2. 宾语的补语
We made him copy the sentence. 我们让他抄写这个句子。（copy the sentence就是宾语的补足语）
Father will not allow us to play on the street. 父亲不让我们在街上玩耍。（不定式 就是宾语的补足语）
You can call me what / whateveryou like. 你叫我什么都行。（从句 what / whateveryou like就是宾语的补足语）
We will soon make our city what your city is now. 我们很快就会把我们的城市建设成你们现在城市的样子。（从句what your city is now就是宾语的补足语）
3. 宾语（包括动词和介词的宾语）从句
I don’t know whom you should depend on.我不知道你该依靠谁.（whom you should depend on是宾语从句）
I am interested in what you are doing now. （what you are doing now是宾语从句）
