the film start 20 years ago, there is a player called 明锋[feng ming], who has a name of Golden leg. but his team mate 强熊 set him up, he miss a shot in an improtant game. not only his reputation has falled, his right leg was destroyed as well. 明锋's confidence was gone, and live on the street. but 强熊 has becomes a star in soccer.

after 20 years, 明锋 get to know 荒维生, who is open mind and addicted to wushu. He then found out 荒维生's leg was very powerful and he believe 荒维生 has the talent to become a soccer star.

he trying to search for people to join the team. he found a group of shaolin follower:黄一飞、田启文、莫美林、陈国坤、林子聪 to join the team. they lost their confidence because their wushu has became junks. but they all want to fight for the 1 million yuan....
