If I am the helper, I will dress myself up in neat clothing, and welcome visitors with peace on my face and decency in my postures, rather than laughing out or put on a serious look. I will apply sincere and polite tongues by using expressions such as "please come in" and "please sit down".
If I am the helper, I will ask the visitors in an indirect way for what kind of help they are seeking for, instead of posing blunt questions such as "what's up? What's the matter? Say it!"
If I am the helper, I will explain to the help seekers the secrecy codes, and briefy expain to them the nature of a psychological consultation, to let them know that it is a process aiming at assisting the patients to solve all kinds of mind problems.
If I am the helper. I will employ right psychological tests. i will tell the patients the meaning and use of the measuring tables selected for getting a certain result of diagnosis. I would not carelessly use improper tests on the patients as in a floor sweeping method.
If I am the helper, I will try my best to establish a good patient-consultant relationship between the patients and I, regardless their social indentities, status, religion believes. I will treat the visitors with respect, honesty, empathy and enough concern.
However, by now I have not been qualified as a real helper, but I will try hard and I am confident that I will become a real helper to others and perfect myself at the same time.
