事实上，英语近百年的发展变化并不大，尤其相对于汉语而言，美国历史很短，仅200余年，语言不可能有太大的发展，只是去掉了英国英语的口音，现在你听不列颠英语，如伦敦（东部）话，利物浦话，还有知名的爱尔兰化，苏格兰，威尔士话，都会发现他们很搞笑，这是因为我们听惯了美语，如果听澳语，你都不敢相信他们在说英语，现在年轻人还好一点。
在美国，没有“古英语”这个词，美国的口音其实并不明显，中国人容易分辨的是东部人儿化音十分明显，就像中国北方人说话一样，而西南部，南部，口音很怪，像在“拐弯”，儿化不明显，南方口音是会被人嘲笑的，如刚刚卸任的布什，会被人笑称 “redneck”，因为种地而晒红了脖子。随着现代科技发展，通信越来越方便，200年的美国还来不及有什么语言用词，口音发展，想必将来也不会有什么口音了。

中国教育的一个失败之处包括自以为聪明的发明了英文字母的汉语拼音，让中国学生误以为汉语英语发音大同小异，其实汉语是前腔发音为主，英语则是后腔，你可以理解为人有两个嗓子，汉英用不同的，加之人种差异，亚洲人声带不会发出英语的腔调，但这和chinenglish完全是两码事。你很容易听出印度人，法国人，德国人，南非人，爱尔兰人的英语口音，自己感觉汉语式比他们标准，其实对英美人来说，chinesenglish的口音更搞笑。不要把发音建立在发音习惯基础上。世界上有60多亿人，你每天在一个远远少于13亿人的互联圈里，虽然英语国家不是剩下的47亿多人，但你知道它的范围影响有多大。那才更接近互联网的概念。

[key words] mother language; negative transfer; positive transfer; language knowledge; english teaching 论母语迁移对中国学生英语学习的影响 语言迁移是二语习得中的一种普遍现象。因为在语言学习者学习语言之前，他们就一直使用母语与他人进行交流。因而，他们对于母语的规则已经非常熟悉。又由于语言学习之间存在着共性，所以，在学习者学习外语时，他们就会不自觉地将母语的一些习惯迁移到他们所学的外语中去。而后，迁移就发生了。然而，两种语言之间在使用习惯，规则等众多方面存在着异同。这就使语言在迁移过程中发生了两种变化：正迁移和负迁移。本文首先对迁移的定义以及母语在第二语言习得中的重要性进行阐述。然后讨论了迁移产生的原因。接下来，分别就迁移可能出现的两大方面（语言知识方面和文化方面）进行详细的描述。在语言知识方面，从五个方面描写母语的迁移的表现：英语字母的学习，语音方面，词汇方面，语法方面和语篇方面。在文化方面，则从两个方面来描写：词汇文化方面和语用方面。最后，本文提出一些认为在教学中可以采取的正确对待母语迁移的方法。
