Charles Muller英译的论语中的这句话是这样说的:
If terminology is not corrected, then what is said cannot be followed. If what is said cannot be followed, then work cannot be accomplished
但是我不喜欢这译文，提问的朋友要是有机会一定翻翻辜鸿铭英译的论语，既古雅，又能表达出一句话和孔子整个思想的联系。
