The advantages:

1.It can narrow the generation gap between the young and the old.

2.It can make full use of the educational resourses for there are still many chances that have not been used.

3.It can keep the old younger, productive and energetic, so that the whole society can suffer less trouble.

4.It can let the young get to know more about the old and also learn something valuable from the old.

The disadvantages:

1.Misunderstands between the young and the old may easily created during classes and it wil surely disorder the course.

2.The level of the young and the old is very different , and it's difficult for the teacher to seclect what he or she is going to teach.

3.It is somehow strange to have lessons with people who have such a great distance both in age and in mind.
