【答案】 DARLIE, with a over 70 years' history, was developed by the both brothers, Yan Bailin/Bolin(不确定是bolin还是bailin) and Yan Zhongli from Ningbo, China in 1930s. The both brothers set up Haolai Pharmaceuticals (the predecessor of Haolai Chemical Industry) in British settlement in Shanghai at that time, which is one of the former members of China Chemical Industry Agency (produces Sanxing Toothpaste and Baiyu Tooth Paste)founded by Fang Yexian. DARLIE is mixed into spearmint flavour on the basis of the ingredients of Baiyu toothpaste with Chinese characteristics and sold on the maket. The name of DARLIE is derived from the fact that the black man from Africa has black skin but white tooth.
