Summary

In November, 2009, Canada prime minister and India administrator made the agreement on the resumption in fuel-grade uranium sales. It was the first time to break the sanctions which Canada placed on India for using Canadian-made reactor for thirty-five years. This agreement opened a path to the Canada-India energy cooperation. A university professor from Canada had a positive analysis to this agreement, he said it was a chance for the two countries to do heavy-water trade with the third-party countries, and the neclear energy market also need Indians to consolidate together.
